A heavy French 18 carat rose gold ring designed as three curved ridges encircling the finger, with a flattened top. This ring has been handmade rather than cast from a mould, and the quality of the manufacture is evident in every sleek line and curve.
The top of this ring measures 1.5cm x 1.3cm. The horizontal godronne style tapers down to the base of the shank where it is stamped with the eagle’s head for 18 carat gold and French manufacture. There is an unidentifiable partially struck maker’s mark.
