A dramatic gold and diamond dome ring in the style of Belperron, designed as five curving ridges, the central ridge set with diamonds in platinum.
The 9 main diamonds are old transitional cut stones, which are interspersed with 8 smaller single-cut diamonds. The central stone is estimated to weigh 1.15 carats, with a total diamond weight of approximately 4 carats. The stones are bright and lively.
The ring is marked with the eagle’s head poinçon for French manufacture, but no maker’s mark is visible.
Currently a size S.5 (US 9.5), this ring may be sized slightly to fit.
